Thinking about getting my Wrangler detailed before desert season starts

I've been spending a bit of time getting my 2018 Wrangler ready for the upcoming desert season because I've got a few trips planned with some mates and I want the car to be in good shape before we head out into the dunes. I've already sorted the mechanical side of things – oil change, filters, checked the diff fluids, made sure the 4x4 system is working properly – but now I'm starting to think about the appearance side of things because honestly the poor thing looks absolutely battered after the summer. The paint is covered in fine scratches from desert brushes and sand, the plastic trim has gone that horrible faded grey colour, and the interior is absolutely full of sand no matter how many times I vacuum it. I've been looking into getting a proper detail done before the season really gets going, partly because I want it to look good but also because I think a good clean and protection would help preserve it long-term against all the abuse it's going to take. I'm particularly interested in getting the paint protected with something that can withstand the desert environment, and maybe getting the trim restored to its original black rather than that faded grey look that makes the car look older than it actually is. Has anyone had their Wrangler professionally detailed, and did you feel it was worth the investment? I'm not expecting it to stay perfect because I actually use my Jeep for what it's meant for, but I'd love to get it looking as good as possible before I go and get it dirty again. Any advice on what services are actually worth paying for versus what's just fluff would be really helpful because I'm new to the whole detailing thing and I don't want to waste money on stuff that won't make a real difference. Also keen to hear if anyone's had their interior properly deep-cleaned because the amount of sand that's accumulated is genuinely impressive and I'm not sure my household vacuum is up to the task.
